How to download free 4K gradient backgrounds
Open a gradient, choose Export, select PNG, JPG or WebP and use the 4K preset for a 3840 × 2160 background. No account is required.
How do I export a 3840 × 2160 gradient?
Open a gradient details page, select the colour variation you want and click Export. Choose PNG, JPG or WebP, then select 4K. Check the preview and download the image. Full HD is 1920 × 1080; 4K is twice its width and height, giving four times as many pixels.
Can I make a phone wallpaper or social background?
Yes. The exporter includes a 1290 × 2796 phone preset, 1080 × 1920 story, 1080 × 1350 post and 1080 × 1080 square. Choose a composition with a calm area around the clock, caption or title. The crop stays centred, so a light area at the far edge may disappear in portrait format.
What are the custom size limits?
Custom image width and height each accept whole numbers from 64 to 4096 pixels. Use the actual destination size rather than downloading the largest image for every task. A 3840 × 2160 background can be useful for a large display but is often unnecessary for a small card.
Does a 4K export guarantee 4K source detail?
No. Export dimensions describe the output file. Native gradient shapes can be rendered at the selected size, but a design with embedded raster artwork remains limited by its original resolution. Those designs expose an Original size option. Increasing their dimensions can soften detail; inspect the download at its intended display size.
How do I reduce banding and file size?
PNG avoids lossy compression and is a useful starting point for smooth colour transitions. JPG and WebP provide quality controls; compare the saved result, especially in large dark areas. For website use, choose an appropriate resolution and measure the resulting file rather than assuming that every 4K download is lightweight.
